Zen gardens are so relaxing! There is just something about the feeling of the rake moving through the sand and the patterns left behind that is very meditative. You can feel the falling away of concerns and worries as you revert to childhood and just play in the sand!

I made this lovely relaxing playground in a vintage glass decorative serving plate with genuine Garnet sand, a quartz cluster, a piece of tumbled Garnet, Carnelian, a Herkimer Diamond, Montana Agate, agate w/quartz, and a recycled copper rake. The plate is a 10 1/4" X 7" vintage glass serving tray.
