The appearance of these stones on the outside (matrix), can be a bit like cement and belie the beauty they contain on the inside! Another mineral involved in most of these geodes is agate, located between the matrix (if there is any) and the quartz crystals and can contain some absolutely beautiful banding and colors.

I love making necklaces and due to the nature of stones and mineral, as well as my natural inclinations, these are OOAK pieces.
